Turkey burger — 4 patties
Salt — to taste
Pepper — to taste
Burger buns — 4 pcs
Cheddar — 4 slices
Pitted cherries — 100 g
Sugar — 1 tbsp
Dried marjoram — a pinch
Dried rosemary — a pinch
Dried thyme — a pinch
White wine vinegar — 2 tbsp
Mustard — 2 tbsp
1/ Grill the burger patties for 5 minutes on one side. Flip them over, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty, cover with foil, and grill for another 5 minutes. Lightly toast the burger buns in a frying pan until golden brown.
2/ Put cherries (preferably frozen) in a saucepan, sprinkle with sugar, bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes. Add marjoram, rosemary, thyme and vinegar and boil over low heat for 10 minutes.
3/ Grease the bottom of the bun with mustard, place the cheese patty, pour cherry sauce over the top and cover with the top bun.
