Breast steak – 2 pcs Onions – ½ pc Rice – ½ cup Egg – 4 pcs Soy sauce – 6 tbsp Sugar – 3 tbsp Rice vinegar – 1 tbsp Salt – to taste
For serving: Yolk – 2 pcs Chili pepper – to taste Green onions – to taste Sesame seeds – to taste
1/ Cook the rice by adding it to a pot with one cup of water.
2/ Slice the onion into half-rings. Heat a pan over medium heat and pour in the soy sauce. Once it starts to bubble, add the onion and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Cook, stirring, for 2–3 minutes.
3/ Cut the steaks into small pieces. Add them to the pan and stir.
Sear the meat on both sides for 2 minutes.
4/ In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with a fork or whisk. Pour the egg mixture into the pan, making sure it covers the meat evenly. Cook the omelet under a lid for 2–3 minutes, without stirring, until the eggs set.
5/ Mix the cooked rice with a tablespoon of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt, and stir.
6/ Divide the rice into two portions, top with half of the omelet, sprinkle with chopped green onions, garnish with egg yolk, chili rings, and sesame seeds.
