For tacos: Drumsticks – 1 pc Tortilla – 6 pcs Lime – 1 pc Olive oil – to taste Paprika – to taste Salt and pepper – to taste For pico de gallo Tomato – 1 pc Red onion – ½ pc Chili pepper – to taste Cilantro – to taste Salt – to taste Olive oil – to taste
To serve: Sour cream – to taste Chili pepper – to taste Lime – to taste Green onions – to taste
1/ Roast the turkey drumsticks with salt and pepper at 180°C for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
2/ Remove the meat from the bones and shred it into strands using forks.
3/ Prepare the pico de gallo: finely dice the tomato and onion, chop the cilantro and chili pepper. In a salad bowl, mix all the ingredients. Season with salt to taste and drizzle with olive oil.
4/ Assemble the tacos by adding shredded turkey meat, pico de gallo, and a squeeze of lime juice onto each tortilla. Add a dollop of sour cream on the edge and sprinkle with paprika.
5/ Garnish the dish with chopped cilantro, chili pepper, green onions, and lime wedges.
